Anna Investigates:
The Robots in My Garden
Daddy renovated the garden.
Then two robots arrived.
Barry and Larry.
Obviously, I had questions.

Daddy has been renovating the garden. Apparently a finished garden also requires robots.
Barry works in one part of the garden. Larry works in another.
They move by themselves. They cut the grass. Nobody drives them.
Naturally, I needed to investigate.
Meet the Robots
Barry
Bosch VISIMOW18V-100
“Barry has a bump sensor. I have a nose. We have more in common than I expected.”
Larry
WORX Landroid Vision
“Mummy says Larry has artificial intelligence. I have natural intelligence. This seemed like something we should test.”
Anna's Testing Programme
As a professional Engineering Investigator, I conducted a series of tests to understand how Barry and Larry work. Here are my findings…
- Test 01 · ChaseAnna chases Larry.
- Test 02 · BallAnna puts her ball in front of Larry, hoping he will “bop it” so she can chase it.
- Test 03 · StickAnna puts sticks in its path and discovers they get destroyed.
- Test 04 · PassengerAnna tries to sit on top for a ride. Test terminated by Management.
Anna's Findings
- Barry: Green. Methodical. Good bump sensor. Potential transport opportunity.
- Larry: AI powered. Poor at fetch. Excellent stick destruction capability.
- Anna: Naturally intelligent. Excellent testing methodology.
- Mummy: Interferes with advanced research.
Case Status: OPEN
Further testing of Barry and Larry will be required. Preferably when Mummy isn't looking.
“I still think Larry could bop the ball if he tried.”
About Anna
Anna, Engineering Investigator
Small dog. Big investigations.
Things make noises. Things move. Things appear in the house without explanation. Anna investigates, usually by getting considerably closer to them.
